Working Principle
This vacuum oven utilizes a vacuum pump to evacuate the chamber and create negative pressure, allowing moisture or solvents within the material to boil and vaporize at lower temperatures for gentle drying. Heat is transferred directly to the material primarily via conduction through the shelves or chamber walls, thereby avoiding the disturbance of samples by airflow. Vaporized moisture is continuously removed to maintain a dry environment, while the vacuum excludes oxygen, effectively preventing material oxidation or hazardous reactions.

During operation, this vacuum oven lowers the boiling point of liquids, making it ideal for processing heat-sensitive materials. The drying process can be conducted under vacuum or inert gas conditions, thereby eliminating the risk of explosions caused by heating easily oxidizable substances while preserving the physical and chemical stability of the materials.
