Vacuum Paddle Dryer

Dec 04, 2017|

The vacuum paddle dryer is a type of conduction heat transfer dryer. The material does not come into direct contact with the heating medium. It is suitable for drying small amounts of paste-like and pasty materials that are not heat-resistant and prone to oxidation, with a moisture content of 15% to 90%. The blades of the horizontal paddle agitator in the dryer are made of cast iron or steel and are installed on a square shaft. Half of the blades are oriented to the left and the other half to the right. The rotational speed of the shaft is 7 to 8r/min, and it is driven by a motor equipped with a reduction gearbox. At the same time, an automatic steering device is adopted to change the rotation direction of the shaft and the rotation direction of the agitator every 5 to 8 minutes. When operating, first start the stirrer, add the material to be dried, and then close the feeding port. At the same time, steam is introduced for heating. The pressure of the heating steam is generally 0.2 to 0.4Mpa (gauge pressure).
