Plate Dryer
Dec 05, 2017| The plate dryer, also known as the disc dryer, was introduced in the drying monographs published in Japan in the early years. In recent years, cities such as Shanghai, Changzhou and Shijiazhuang in our country have been successfully developed one after another. It is a multi-layer fixed hollow heating disc (also known as the material carrier disc), a rotating rake stirring, and a vertical continuous drying device mainly based on conduction, which has been developed and improved on the basis of the intermittent stirring conduction dryer by integrating a series of advanced technologies. This drying process involves introducing the heat carrier into each layer of hollow discs and indirectly heating the wet materials in contact with the disc surface through heat conduction. Under the mechanical action of the rotating rake blades, the moisture in the constantly moving materials evaporates at the operating temperature, and the steam is discharged with the exhaust gas of the equipment, thus continuously obtaining qualified dried products at the bottom of the equipment. Plate dryers have a history of several decades. In recent years, many countries have widely applied it in fields such as chemical engineering, dyes, pesticides, plastics, medicine and food, and have been constantly improving and enhancing it during its use. Compared with traditional drying equipment, it has the advantages of high thermal efficiency, low energy consumption, uniform drying, good product quality, small floor space, fewer auxiliary equipment, less pollution, continuous production, convenient operation and wide application range. Therefore, it has broad prospects for development in drying technology and has attracted more and more people's attention and research. The equipment types and specifications have been serialized, industrialized and scaled up, and have developed into an industrial drying device.
