Wet material is spread evenly on the moving belt and passes through the drying chamber at a controlled speed. Moisture is removed gradually during the process.
The belt dryer is suitable for granular, sliced, strip and some formed materials. Drying time can be adjusted according to the material condition.
We prefer a practical design. The machine is built for stable continuous operation rather than complicated operation.
Working Principle
The Belt Dryer uses heated air to transfer heat to the wet material and carry away evaporated moisture.
Material is evenly distributed on the perforated or mesh belt. Hot air passes through or across the material layer to improve heat and moisture transfer.
The drying chamber can be divided into several zones. Temperature and airflow can be adjusted in different zones to match the drying curve of the material.
Structure & Features
The Industrial Belt Dryer mainly consists of a feeding system, drying chamber, conveyor belt, heating system, circulation fans and discharge system.
Single-layer and multi-layer configurations are available. A multi-layer design can provide a longer drying path within a limited floor area.
The belt speed is adjustable. A slower speed can be selected when the material requires a longer residence time or gentler drying conditions.
