Vacuum Drying Oven User Guide
Nov 19, 2025| Low-Temperature Vacuum Drying Oven.
The vacuum drying oven has several main components. They include the door handle. There is also the vacuum gauge. You will find the vacuum valve knob. Do not forget the vacuum pump connection. And there is the balance port.
Here is the standard drying procedure.
You open the door handle first. Then place the sample inside the oven.
Next, adjust the temperature as needed. Close the door securely after that.
Once drying finishes, remove the sample from the oven.
Now, for the vacuum drying procedure.
Place the sample evenly on the sample rack inside the drying oven. Push the rack into the oven carefully.
Close the door tight. Shut the vent valve completely. Open the vacuum valve knob. Connect the vacuum pump power cord. This creates an internal vacuum of minus 0.1 MPa.
After that, close the vacuum valve. Disconnect the vacuum pump power supply.
Turn off the main power to the vacuum drying oven. Pre-set the temperature before starting.
The internal temperature gets close to the set point. Then the alarm indicator light flashes repeatedly. You can check the temperature control status in about 120 minutes.
If you need low-temperature drying, set the temperature in stages. For instance, if the target is 60 degrees Celsius, start at 50 degrees Celsius. Adjust up to 60 degrees Celsius if it gets too high.
Determine the drying time based on the sample's moisture content. If the time runs too long or the vacuum level drops, re-evacuate the vacuum. Restore it to normal levels.
After drying completes, turn off the power. Open the vent valve to release the internal vacuum. Remove the sample safely.
Here are some precautions to follow. Preheat the oven before use. Make sure the sample sits in the off position.
Do not place liquid solvents inside the chamber. Avoid items with a flash point or boiling point below 150 degrees Celsius under vacuum.
