Currently, the export volume of Chinese drying equipment accounts for less than 5% of the total domestic production. It is expected that during the "Tenth Five-Year Plan" period, the proportion of export products in the total domestic drying equipment production will reach more than 10%.

In international competition, the main competitors of Chinese drying equipment manufacturers are Denmark, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Germany, the United States, and Japan. Compared with competitors, the advantage of Chinese drying equipment is its low price. The shortcomings mainly lie in the need for further improvement in the degree of automation control, appearance quality, completeness, and functional combination of the products.

Therefore, domestic drying equipment manufacturers should fully utilize the opportunities brought about by China's entry into the WTO, strengthen technical exchanges with foreign countries, learn from the strengths of advanced foreign drying equipment, and accelerate the improvement of the automation control, appearance quality, completeness, and functional combination of Chinese drying equipment, narrowing the gap with foreign products, and increasing user confidence in Chinese products, so that Chinese drying equipment can occupy a dominant position not only in the domestic market but also in the international market.
