Factors Restricting The Performance Of Drying Equipment

Dec 12, 2017|

Drying temperature: It refers to the temperature of the air entering the drying drum. Due to the physical properties of each raw material, such as molecular structure, specific gravity, specific heat, moisture content and other factors, there are certain restrictions on the temperature during drying. If the temperature is too high, some additives in the raw materials will volatilize, deteriorate or form lumps. If the temperature is too low, some crystalline raw materials will not meet the required drying conditions, such as PC/120℃, ABS/80 to 95℃. In addition, when choosing dry barrels, heat insulation and heat preservation are necessary to prevent dry temperature leakage, which may result in insufficient drying temperature or energy waste.
